This second issue of The Plantation Journal showcases a selection of artists' practices that explore variations in the approach of creating a sculptural body for the purpose of the image itself. These sculptural bodies, like the sculptural elements in Journal 1, whether physically or digitally manipulated, do not exist before or after the image was taken. The Plantation Journal 2 is continuing its conversation from the previous issue in which the constructed objects where the topic of discussion.
